Casey TRYING to surf behind the boatWe decided last minute we would head out to Lake Mead with one of Casey's friends to go boating. We contemplated whether to go or not. Well I am so glad we decided to go, we had a blast. It was about 100 degrees and it felt so good.
We made some great friends and had a lot of fun hanging out with all of you. Thanks Brad, Brit, Kyle, Kelli, Brandy,and Brandon. I hope we can all hang out again sometime soon.
Casey has been wanting to buy a boat for so long and I never really knew why, but after this trip I realized why. So maybe in the next few years we can reach that goal. (and for some reason mabe gas will go back down. :) yeah right)
Well I have not been boating since my para sailing accident a couple of years ago so I am always a little hesitant to get in the water. I have never wake boarded before and I was kind of scared to try because I did not want to make a fool of myself. I got talked into it and it was so much fun. I was able to get up on my first try (not for very long, but I did it) Then after a few pointers I did pretty good for my first time, now I am excited to try again sometime.

Oh, I am jealous. I cannot even remember the last time I have done any water type things like that. I would be terrible at it, I do not have an athletic bone in my body. I do like riding on those tubes though and waverunners. They don't require a whole lot of skill. Looks like so much fun, good job on getting up there and giving it a try. Bet you guys loved it!
Oh geez, I forgot about your para sailing accident! That was just stupid! Glad you conquered your fear and go up! I haven't been in a boat since that work party! Sounds really fun right about now!
That looks like so much fun, I would love a trip like that. I didn't know you were in a para sailing accident, were you hurt very bad? I don't try those kind of things now, so I am impressed you would again after having something like that happen. I'm glad you guys had fun.
I am glad that you had so much fun! We had a lot of fun, too. Your pictures are cute--- I am going to steal a couple and put them in my slideshow. For some reason, I dont have any pictures with you two in it! So I will definitely snag some and add you in because you guys were a blast to hang out with! That tubing picture is hilarious... My arms hurt just thinking about it :)
Looks like you guys had fun, it was probably nice to be warm for a change. I don't like the water so it looks kind of scary to me. I would love Kalea's cleats and clothes that is very nice of you. Thanks! We are going to Grandpa Woodyatts on Monday to eat pizza and go to the cemetary if you guys would like to come, that would be fun.
That looks like fun. I love that kind of stuff if its someone elses boat. I wouldn't want to take care of a boat. Looks like you did a pretty good job. I would be nervous too. You are brave.

We are so glad that we were able to meet you guys and that you guys came down! We loved it! You guys are so much fun and we would love to do something with you guys again real soon! (I especially loved playing Roulette with you too! You helped make it fun!) Your blog is adorable and your kids are so dang cute! Hope to hear from you guys soon! I hope it is ok that we "link" blogs with each other! And tell Casey to tell the Harvey's "hello" from me whenever he sees them next!
