It will be 5 years on April 15th when my best friend Boz passed away. He started having seizures and was getting old so we had to put him to sleep. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Kalea was only 6 months old but was very attached to him, he was very protective of her and would let her do anything to him and he would just lay there. He doesn't look very good in these pictures though because he was sick.
He was such a sweet dog, when we were home he would never leave our side. If we got in the shower he would lay outside the door, if we were doing our hair he was laying under our feet, and if we were asleep he was right in our bed. We have had 3 boxers since him currently 2, but it is not the same. I sure do miss you Bozy.
We never clipped his ears so we always called him BAT DOG!
This is a card my cute little nephew Kayson made him when he knew he was sick. He was about 6 or 7 when he wrote this. I tried not to cry in front of him but it was so sweet and innocent I could not help it. It's kind of hard to read but it says Bozy is a cute dog. Bozy is a cool dog. Bozy is a fun dog. Bozy is a fun dog to play with. Love, KaysonHe even picked some dandelions (A kids favorite flower) and taped them to the card. Kayson I will never forget this. I love you.

That is so sad when you lose a pet. I just am not an animal person, but Thiago's family just had to put down there dog a few months ago. They have had her since he was like 12 or 13, so along time. She was the sweetest thing, I even cried and cried when she died. And I never cry over animals. Oh by the way, Kalea is so cute as a baby, you forget what they are like when they are that small.

Oh what a sweet post. I always thought people were kind of funny how attached they get to their animals but when we had to put our cocker spaniel to sleep when I was 18 I think it was one of the saddest days of my life. Dogs are so great, they have that unconditional love for you. He looks like he was a great friend.
Anytime like that is sad I remember when we put our dog too sleep it was so sad. I miss her so much she was such a special animal which I know yours was too.
