Oh my how time flies! My baby is ONE. He turned one on March 29th. It is so much fun to see them grow and learn new things, I am always pushing him to grow up but then I look back and I am so sad at how fast he has grown. I guess I can't be happy either way.
We had a lot of fun doing a photo shoot for his invitations, it was very hard because every time you put him on the ground he gets so excited and wants to run across the room to you, so out of 20 pictures we were able to pick a few that would work.
His party turned out great he had so much fun, he got 5 ride on toys all different and he is having a blast playing with all of them. He loved ripping the wrapping paper to find what was inside.
We got him this 4-wheeler and his sister loves driving him around on it.
He had a sports themed party so we got a snowboarding cake for him. I think it turned out pretty cute. You know when they turn one you wait all day for them to dig into their first cake, well it was kind of a let down just as it was on Kalea's 1st B-day. When my kids eat I am constantly wiping their hands and face so they are always clean. Well I think they get scared to get dirty. So he picked at it and loved eating it but he did not get messy until Casey shoved his face in it and Kalea shoved a fist full of frosting in it. But he sat and ate it forever. He probably would have eaten the entire cake if we did not take it away from him. When he was finished we let him stand in front of the bathroom mirror for a few minutes, and boy did he love that. He was painting frosting all over the mirror and laughing at himself. 
Am I in trouble mom?
Once again after a long day I love to fall asleep on my grampy!

I love that invatation, he looks so much like Casey in those pictures. What a fun day, I love their first birthdays, though like you said part of me is always sad. After they turn one they just don't feel like my baby anymore. I loved that picture of him sleeping with his grandpa, so precious!
He is darling! I feel like after kids turn one they just grow up so fast. It is sad in some ways. His cake was so cute. I love the picutre of him looking in the mirror with cake all over.
I love the picture of him making a mess on the mirror! It looks like you had a fun Birthday party. Kobe is so cute. Hallie thought she was pretty cool that he let her hold him last night.

Thats funny about the cake...Carson is the same way. He hates to get dirty, he loves cheetos, but he won't eat them cause they turn his hands orange. I am like you though, I can't stand when he looks messy, I am always cleaning him up or fixing his hair. Now if anyone tries to touch his hair, he will tell them to stop cause his hair is done. What have I done to him. Anyways, happy B-day Kobe, he is such a cute, happy, little guy!
There first birthdays are so fun. At least he ate the cake Brevin didn't want to touch his. Don't you love those riding toys can't ever have to many.
