Easter Fun

Easter egg hunt
We had a very eventful Easter weekend. We spent Saturday morning hunting for eggs. We go to two hunts every year, one in Clearfield and one in Layton. Kalea has a lot of fun doing this, she gets buckets full of candy (that she never eats) and gets so excited over it. The hunt in Layton has more toys than candy so as a mom I enjoy that one more. After the hunt you can get your picture taken with the bunny, and like Santa as we sat Kobe on the bunny's lap he just turned his head and stared at him wondering what or who in the heck he was. He doesn't cry but it's hard to get his attention for the picture.

Kobe Even found a few eggs on his own.

After the hunts we went over to Albertson's where they had a little setup where you could decorate and personalize you own little egg shaped cakes. She had all sorts of frosting and decorations for her eggs, and had a lot of fun making one for her and her cousins.

Then after that we had to go home to get ready for pictures. Whew.....Were we tired by this point. I love taking my kids for pictures. Casey doesn't mind going with me he hates the deciding part after the pictures are done. It takes me forever to choose (because usually they all turn out soooo cute.) Well here are some of their fun Easter pictures.

Did you think we were done. Oh no. Me and Kalea had a G.N.O. with our friends Token and Aspen. We went to the Jazz game with them and had a blast. They were giving out full sized basketballs so we each got one of those. The kids got their faces painted, they were painted as butterflies, but Kalea wanted a players number on her cheek also so she chose Kyle Korver. For those of you that don't know who he is, he is the CUTE one as Kalea and I would say and she says he shoots the money ball. Kalea loves watching the games at home with us so she knows a lot about the players. There was a guy that was sitting behind us that commented on how cute they were and he asked who they were rooting for. Aspen said Kirilenko and Kalea said Boozer, the guys jaw dropped to the floor and started laughing, he thought they would have no clue about basketball or the Jazz. Pretty funny. But all in all we had a GREAT day!
