Snowboarding Pals

For all of you that don't know Casey really well he loves Snowboarding. He has been counting down the days since Kalea was born to take her snowboarding. She went once or twice last year but this was her first real season to learn. Her first couple of times she did pretty well, considering. But it only took her a couple of times to become pretty darn good. Casey has tried to take her up at least once a week and she loves it. One day I called him to see when he was coming home and he told me they were on the lift and were coming home after one more run. Two hours later I call him to see where he is and he was still on the slopes because there was no way she was coming home. She was having to much fun. It was hard for me to believe she was as good as he said, so after our tubing trip to Snowbasin I went over to watch her. As she came down the hill, I hate to say this but my eyes swelled. It was probably the cutest thing I have ever seen her do, and she was dang good. I am so proud of her. Casey is so glad he has a partner to go with now. He still goes every week with his friends though. I do not snowboard but I would love to learn someday. Maybe when Kobe is old enough to learn, I will learn with him.
